Here's an introductory activity to go with your Light and Color unit. Students will review the characteristics of visible light, order the visible light spectrum in terms of frequency and wavelength, and identify the primary and secondary colors of light. Students will also determine the color formed when you mix the primary and secondary colors, predict the color of an object under a specific color of light, determine how light interacts with opaque and translucent objects, and determine the wavelength of color that will pass through colored filters. This activity has 20 questions and is available in Google Slides, Google Jamboard, and editable and print PDF versions. An answer key is included.
