Here's a fun activity to accompany your Cell Cycle Unit. This Mitosis Escape Room will have your students begging for more. It's an excellent teaching tool that reinforces the cell cycle and phases of mitosis Students will tackle questions about the phases of mitosis, the role of checkpoints, centrosomes, centrioles, spindle fibers, diploidy and chromosome number, interphase (G1, S, and G2 phases), and the significance of cell division and its regulation.

 

This escape room is perfect for reinforcing classroom lessons or as a stand-alone educational activity.

 

Learning about mitosis and the cell cycle can be exciting. This escape room features five (5) locked puzzles with 30 multiple-choice questions that students must unlock. The game is available in Google Forms and a print version. Each puzzle has response validation; students must answer correctly before advancing through the game. An answer key is included.
