Here's a fun activity to accompany your Muscular System Unit.

This Microscopic Structure of Muscles Escape Room will have your students begging for more. It's an excellent teaching tool that reinforces muscle contraction Students will explore the microscopic structure and physiology of muscle fibers, muscle contractions, the differences between fast-twitch and slow-twitch fibers, the role of the sarcoplasmic reticulum, and how muscles generate force and endurance.

Learning about muscle structure, physiology, and contraction can be exciting. This escape room features five (5) locked puzzles with 30 multiple-choice questions that students must unlock. The game is available in Google Forms and a print version. Each puzzle has response validation; students must answer correctly before advancing through the game. An answer key is included.
