Do you need to review the names and formulas of polyatomic ions? Here is a fun and engaging activity. There are THREE (3) different games, and your students will match the ion's name to its chemical formula. The game keeps records of the number of correct and incorrect attempts. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO USE AN EXTERNAL SITE TO ACCESS THIS GAME. THE GAME IS A POWERPOINT SHOW. Some ions included are acetate, ammonium, nitrite, phosphate, perchlorate, chromate, silicate, sulfite, thiocyanate, carbonate, and hypochlorite. There are a total of 27 ions, nine in each game. An answer key is included.
